New Sopranos episodes scheduled for April to conclude season six

Fans of the Sopranos expected to see the second half of Season Six starting this month. But with James Gandolfini’s knee surgery, taping the new episodes got put on hold until he recovered. Now comes word that fans (hopefully!) will see brand new episodes, the final eight of the sixth season, this April on HBO.
By the time new episodes start airing, ten months would have passed since the last new episode aired, a long time in the life of a television series. Of course, the Sopranos does have that tendancy to keep fans waiting far longer than any other series!
However, with the airing of the final eight episodes comes the closing of the series, as the series will wrap up with the series finale in the final episode.
