A&E starts airing less graphic version of The Sopranos

The Sopranos has been a staple of HBO since 1999. But now the mob drama will be airing on regular cable on A&E this week. That said, viewers will be seeing a much more sanitized version of the show than the one that aired on HBO. Some language as well as some of the more graphic scenes have been edited out of the A&E version of the show. Reportedly, about a minute is being cut from each episode.

The episodes start airing on A&E on January 10th. A&E will air two back-to-back episodes each Wednesday night.
